Who I AM
I grew up on the waters of Cape Cod in the quaint village of Osterville. My first boat was a 1968 13-foot Boston Whaler that I shared with my brother. We would fish, scuba dive and hang out on Sampsons Island. My parents had a boat that we spent a lot of time on and my Dad would teach us everything from boat safety, maintenance, navigation and wax on-wax off. I learned quickly at a young age that I had a passion for the water and the people surrounding it.
However, I also had a dream to fly airplanes, so I decided to attend the United States Air Force Academy. After graduation, while waiting for a pilot training slot, I was an Assistant Hockey Coach at USAFA. Eventually, I received my assignment, I was off to Williams AFB for Undergraduate Pilot Training (UPT) where I earned my Air Force Wings. I spent the next 10 years serving my country as a pilot on both Active Duty and as a Reservist. I am very proud to be a Veteran.
I then decided to pursue my civilian aviation career and was fortunate to be hired by Federal Express where I spent the next 27 years delivering packages all over the world. It was now time to hang up the uniform and enter the next phase of my life.
Back to where it all started---a love for the water!
Yacht brokerage seemed like a natural fit. So far, it has been. Having the opportunity to help sellers and buyers find the perfect boat is very satisfying.
